Why :S, Hammerschmidt is nice for the big changes in gearing and then its good to have small changes you can do on the rear. This is my do it all bike so I dont want to be stuck with just 2 gears.

Yup, just not on this frame though as the suspension design has some chain growth (dosnt pivot around the BB)so I would need a tensioner. But on a hardtail or something like a bass you could run it without a tensioner.

I also agree with lemonade, I dont belive its under 5lbs, maybe high 5s low 6s but under 5 is pretty light, although If it is then thats respectably light and I could very well be wrong. And Lemon, dont be so quick to jump to conclusions, youve never seen or held the frame in your life im guessing so dont be immature with snappy comments.

Thanks. I love it, it did add some weight over my previous setup that I had but its so worth it, I find now that I dont use the rear derailure nearly as much, just for fine adjustments now.

Priced to high, No one is going to pay full pop for something used, especialy wheels. For these Id say 550 is about right, I have a set of King hubs with Mavic 721s and DT swiss Comp spokes that I was selling for 600 and thats a better Rim and spoke combo then the Halos. Also the SS hub is less popular, Anyways, GL with the sale, and whoever does end up buying them wont be dissapointed, Chris King is quality stuff.

Thanks Big Grin I cant wait to ride again, I Dislocated my shoulder Aughast 2nd and it hasnt been the same since. The most I can do is pump track on the XXXX and cruise around on the Wildcard Frown. Theyre my dream bikes, though Ill upgrade as things brake but not much more will change.

37lbs with dual ply tires, Hammerschmidt added some weight over the setup I was running before, but its so worth it!

Haha, Thanks. The X7 is going to get replaced by the 2010 X9 short cage when its released. As for the shock Iv actually been really impressed with the Manitou Evolver ISX 6, more adjustments then a DHX 5 and Im getting it custom tuned over the winter so it should feel even better. Smile

Im just not a fan of 2 piece face plates, 1 piece is stronger and more realiable, dont know about the premiums but other 2 piece face plates have issues and dont work as well as a 1 piece.

I like the look of the Fit aswell. Although I have no knowledge of any of these and am going purly by looks. So theres no credibility behind my vote.

do you understand what tapered stanchions are? you cant tell by looking at them, its the inside that is tapered, not the outside.

Meh, I like stopping. Im more of a street rider then DJ anyways, and having F/R brakes makes it possible to do alot more manouvers. But for anyone else thats intersted, im willing to work things out without a front brake, or if your not liking a certain part and have something your wanting to use yourself, im good with droping the price down and keeping that item.

Yes its his old one, Its less than a year old though, I put the ChrisKing 721 wheelset on it, LG1, Hozfeller cranks, pedals, Thomson stem, and handle bars. Plus brand DH casset, chain, and derailure. So its changed quiet a bit, its gone from 35lbs stock, to now 33lbs with the new spec.
